Buying a Fitball

Fit Balls come in three sizes; 55cm, 65cm and 75 cm. As a general guide, when you sit on top of the ball with your feet flat on the floor, your hips should not be lower than your knees.

Depending on the type of exercise you are doing an approximate scale for choosing the right size Fit Ball is that if you are under 5ft 4in (1.6m) you should choose the 55cm, between 5ft 5in & 6ft (1.62m & 1.8m), the 65cm and anyone over 6ft should choose the 75cm ball.

Our Fit Balls are tested to a maximum user weight of 300kg (500kg for the Pro Fit Ball), which should accommodate most users.

The balls can be inflated with a pump similar to the type used to inflate a Li-Lo or an airbed and will inflate a Fit Ball in a few minutes. Bike pumps will work but they will take a lot longer. Inflating the balls is not high tech! Simply hold the pump over the hole and push the plug in as quickly as possible when the ball is inflated.
