Which POLAR
Heart Rate Monitor should I Choose?
The
Polar Monitor Ranges
If
you are wanting a basic monitor with heart rate only functions or
simple stopwatches and time of day functions in addition then choose
from the POLAR ‘A’ series. Our best seller within
the ‘A’ series is the bottom of the range POLAR BEAT. However
before choosing the bottom of the range model remember that your
needs today may change as you progress and consider whether features
that tell you when your heart rate moves outside of your chosen
zone or whether time and alarm functions might be valuable.

The
‘M’ series motivates you with its unique features to get fit, to
stay in shape or to lose weight. This is the most stylish of the
ranges although the HRMs all make stylish watches. The M21 and
M51 differ only to the M22 and M52 in design rather than features.
In all of these watches users benefit from individually personalised
option settings. The M52 is our best selling of these watches
whilst the M71ti, which has less features than the other four HRMs,
is favourite for those wishing to choose firstly a modern stylish
watch and secondly a heart rate monitor.

For
the serious enthusiast or competitive athlete interested in being
at the cutting edge of HRM technology downloading information to
a PC and storing a variety of data during training, select from
the POLAR ‘S’ Series. The POLAR COACH has been popular
with those looking for an economic method to download information
to their PC by sonic link. The POLAR ACCUREX remains
the choice for those prepared to pay considerably more for a comprehensive
hardware based interface and more complex software.
