Safety tubes are a sheathed tubing product which can be similar to either standard tubing products or to the
tubing clip systems. Typically the tubing is encased in a pleated 'bellows' style sheath of tough nylon canvas.
The pleats allow the sheath to expand exactly three times in length, stopping any chance of over-stretching
the rubber tubing.

Not only does the sheathing stop over-stretching but it also ensures that, should the tubing fail due to a
mechanical failure, instead of breaking the whole product, the tubing will remain (broken) inside the sheathing
avoiding potential injury.
